Anatomy of Miami Food Collection

This collection takes influence from the day-to-day food eaten by Miamians all over the 305. Each design captures the essence of Miami and breaks down all the exciting aspects of our food, from the cafécito in the morning, to grabbing a media noche from la ventanita for lunch, and ending the day with un flancito, every design is uniquely delicious.

Miami Abuelas y Abuelos Collection

The Miami Abuelas y Abuelos series created in 2019-2020 for my MFA Thesis show. The series was inspired by found imagery through the Florida State archives. While working on my thesis at the University of Georgia in Athens, I longed to be home, to smell fresh cafecito in the morning and fabuloso. And so a series of prints that pairs abuelas y abuelos in fabulous poses with cultural Miami objects. The original prints were created through a chine-colle printmaking process on BFK paper.
